Curagenda in collaboration with De Buck Gallery presents a 2-day exclusive experience "Artist Expedition: Rashaad Newsome's NOLA" for the occasion of Rashaad's major homecoming solo exhibition Mélange at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans – an interdisciplinary presentation curated by Andrea Anderson. The New Orleans-born artist, renowned for his voguing performances and stunning collage work, is offering an exclusive insider’s experience of his hometown.
Guests will be introduced to Newsome’s world – New Orleans, a fascinating city unlike any other, with an incredible heritage and history, is a destination steeped in tradition influenced by a melting pot of cultures.
