Zona MACO Mexico City
Art Week & Escondido VIP Experience

WELCOME TO MEXICO CITY IN 2025.

One of the most exciting cities on earth, Mexico City is where art lovers are flocking to at the moment, riding on its cultural renaissance. It is suddenly attracting tastemakers from all corners, with its booming art and gastronomy, cutting-edge contemporary and design cultures, backdropped against a rich historical heritage. Previously known as Tenochtitlán, the Aztec capital is one of the largest and most travelled cities in the world. This sprawling megalopolis is not for the faint-hearted and the thriving contemporary art scene is drawing interest from the best and brightest artists, curators, and critics.

The Mexican capital, referred to by locals as D.F. (Districto Federal) offers endless possibilities for visitors, from cultural hot spots, award-winning chefs and restaurants, fashion, design, beaches, ruins, pyramids, wellness, and of course… contemporary art. Did you know that Mexican cuisine has been designated a world cultural treasure by UNESCO?

We have meticulously calibrated a journey for both intellectuals and experiential seekers, exploring Mexico City's best in contemporary art, design and local culture, anthropology, nature, and modern culinary arts.

Zona MACO Art Week – a must visit art fair in Latin America, will be presenting over 100 galleries, cementing its position as a high-caliber event for the global and regional art communities. Mexican culture is known for its spontaneity, and art week insider events will continue to fill Curagenda Specialists' notebooks.

After the art fair events in city central, we will take you to the idyllic blue Oaxacan coast of Puerto Escondido for a combination of comtemporary art, modern architecture, and gastronomy in the jungle, with a private tour of CASA WABI.
